APPLY + INTERVIEW
After application, I’ll set up an interview with you, find out your areas of interest, and how your skills could benefit the team.
A successful candidate will be invited to join the Discord server and added to the Influencer Channels. Students are required to have a mic and use it during online meetings.
Students receive community service hours for all aspects of the program. This includes all meetings associated with the program, projects you work on, and project meetings.
At the end of the program, students receive a signed certificate with the number of hours completed. School sheets are signed upon request.
Students attend orientation, bi-weekly meetings, project meetings, and occasional one-on-one meetings. Meeting times vary based on the season and do not meet during holidays. Dates are outlined in orientation.
Time spent on projects is up to the student. If they are not able to commit for a season, they can step back and join in when they are able. They are expected to communicate when they are overwhelmed to avoid burnout and continue to make schoolwork a priority.
INFLUENCERS PROGRAM VS. 40 HOURS & BEYOND
This program focuses on intentional leadership building while 40 Hours & Beyond focuses on individual projects with some personal development. Previously the Youth Council was part of the 40 Hours & Beyond Program. It has branched out on it’s own to allow each program to better meet the needs of the students registered.
