Illuminate Life with Christmas Love
Christmas is coming! This year, our Christmas wish is to connect with our neighbours and pass on the love and hope of Christmas especially during this unprecedented pandemic time.
We are grateful for the opportunity to celebrate Christmas together with our neighbours, and we plan to give away gift bags to 1,000 families in Markham and Scarborough areas. This is a free community event where participants will journey through twinkling Christmas light displays and pick up a gift bag. Gift bags will be distributed to families regardless of age, gender, ethnicity, religion or financial situation.
Nevertheless, we hope the recipients will share with others and continue to pass on the love of the Christmas season. It’s just as the saying goes, “It’s more blessed to give than to receive”. The gifts are worth more when we pass them on!

105 Gibson Centre is partnered with Toronto Christian Community Church in this activity. Some of the gifts are generously donated by members of the church community. The theme of the Christmas event is “Emmanuel – God with us”. Christmas Eve celebration “Celebrate Hope & Peace from Emmanuel” will be held on December 24, 2020.
